Three months of free streaming is available to all compatible 2016-2021 4K and 8K LG Smart TVs.

If you've purchased an LG TV over the past five years, chances are you'll be able to claim three months of Apple TV+ for free starting this month.

LG kicked off the promotion today, with the offer available on all compatible LG 4K and 8K Smart TVs released between 2016-2021. To redeem the offer, visit the LG Content Store or follow the on-screen instructions after clicking the Apple TV+ ad banner on the LG TV home menu.

As an added bonus, if your LG TV is a 2018 or later model, the LG Magic Remote is compatible with Apple TV+ and allows for both motion control and voice commands to be used to interact with Apple's streaming service. The voice commands will work on LG TVs sold in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, New Zeeland, The Philippines, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam.

There are a couple of important points to note about this offer. The first is that the free trial must be redeemed between Nov. 15, 2021, and Feb. 20, 2022, and that LG will stop issuing redemption codes after Feb. 13. The second is that at the end of your free trial, Apple TV+ will automatically renew at the regular price for your region. It will then continue to renew and take monthly payments until you decide to cancel the service.

In the US, Apple TV+ is $4.99 per month after a seven-day free trial, though Apple offers three months free if you buy a new Apple device, or one month free with an Apple One bundle.
